A walk to remember

a walk to remember

A walk to remember tells a beautiful story about two North Carolina teens, Landon Carter (West) and Jamie Sullivan (Moore), who are thrown together after Landon gets into trouble and is made to do community service.
What Landon does not know is that Jamie has a very big secret she must keep from him.

The rest is up to you to find out!
Check out the movie!

BTW, before you see this movie; remember to bring some paper-tissues for you and/or your girlfriend! 🙂 This will definately bring out some tears.

Movie info:
Genre: Drama / Romance / Tragedy
Actors: Shane West (Landon), Mandy Moore (Jamie), Peter Coyote (Reverend Sullivan)

Man on fire

 Man On Fire

This movie was released in November 2004, and is also one of my favorite movies!
Denzel Washington plays John Creasy, a former CIA assassin and currently an alcoholic, who is hired by Samuel Ramos (Marc Anthony) to be the bodyguard for his daughter Pita (Dakota Fanning) and his wife.

The movie starts out a bit slow but trust me, in the second half your eyes will be glued to the screen! No time to pee! 😛

Movie info:
Genre: Action, Crime, Drama, Thriller
Actors: Denzel Washington (Creasy), Dakota Fanning (Pita), Marc Anthony (Samuel), Radha Mitchell (Lisa), Christopher Walken (Rayburn).
Runtime: 146 min

A must see?: ABSOLUTELY

I am Sam (a must see!)

Okej folks, this is my first real post, and movie-recommendation for you!
I will try to keep’em short, so you get the joy of watching them, without knowing too much:)

I’ve seen this movie at least more than I can count on one hand, maybe even two, and I must say:
It’s simply one of the best movies I have ever seen!

Sean Penn plays a mentally retarded man who fights for the custody of his 7-year-old-daughter Lucy (Dakota Fanning).
I’ve always though that Dakota Fanning is the greatest child-actress of all times, and this movie proves it!

Movie info:
Genre: Drama
Actors: Sean Penn (Sam), Michelle Pfeiffer (Rita), Dakota Fanning (Lucy)
Runtime: 132 min

A must see?: DEFINATELY!
